Our Associates

Meet our associate dentists who bring many years of training and experience to Central Dental Associates, all for the benefit of our patients. We have patients come to our office from Cicero, Berwyn, Riverside, Oak Park, Westchester, Chicago and even farther away for their skilled care.

Jag Chawla, DDS

As a specialist in orthodontics with over four decades of experience, Dr. Chawla adds depth to the number of services we can offer our patients. He is skilled in providing orthodontic care to both children and adults and treating jaw and facial pain. He can provide either Invisalign or metal braces, depending on which method would provide a patient with the best results.

Dr. Chawla earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science degree in orthodontics from King George's Medical and Dental College in India. He went on to obtain a Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics from Loyola University and his Diploma in Dental Public Health from the University of Toronto College of Dentistry. He is a licensed specialist in child and adult orthodontics, TMJ and orofacial pain and a Certified Invisalign orthodontist.

Munther Salem, DDS

Known for his gentle touch and kind nature, Dr. Salem can get even those patients who dread the dentist to feel comfortable about dental work. His goal is providing excellent care for every patient while keeping them completely comfortable during their visit. Dr. Salem also volunteers his services to treat special needs children in Palestine every summer.

Dr. Salem has been with Central Dental Associates since 2013. He graduated from The University of Illinois.

Ken Arrieta, DDS

A firm believer in patient education, Dr. Arrieta is a specialist in periodontics, the treatment of all the supporting structures of the teeth, including the gums, and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Arrieta’s skills enable many patients to complete their entire treatment plans at our location, avoiding the necessity of being referred to another office.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Loyola University, where he also made the Dean’s List, Dr. Arrieta earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Northwestern University School of Dentistry. He continued his advanced specialist training at the University of Iowa where he received his Certificate in Periodontics.

Ahmed Najjar, DDS

Dr. Najjar takes pride in his work and loves giving his patients a beautiful smile that they can be confident about. He pledges the highest quality of care to his patients through continuing education and being a "lifelong student" of dentistry.

Dr. Ahmad Najjar obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude in 2016. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City.

Dr. Najjar volunteers his expertise to communities close to home and additionally as a participant in Mission of Mercy, a charitable organization which provides dental services to underserved populations overseas.
